Camins del Cadí

Camins del Cadí is a hiking route that mostly passes through Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, a protected area with a great natural and cultural value, which can be explored on foot thanks to its good trail network. The starting point is in La Cerdanya, at the spectacular north face of Cadí. Along the route, we pass to the southern slope through the Gosolans pass towards Berguedà. This pass is the old path that connected the two counties in the past, which leads us to the imposing Pedraforca Massif. The final part of the route takes us to the Alt Urgell plain: a green area, rich in crops, bathed by the Segre River and surrounded by mountains.

This path has been followed since ancient times by porters, bandits, musicians and smugglers, and offers us great panoramic views of La Cerdanya, Berguedà and Alt Urgell.
Accommodation: Mountain hostel in Gósol.

When climbing the Pedraforca, in addition to climbing a beautiful mountain, we become part of a small but important portion of the Catalan culture, as Catalans have always been attracted to this magical mountain of spectacular shapes.
Although the ascent to Pedraforca can be done in a self-guided way, we recommend doing it with a mountain guide.

Option 2. CIRCULAR 360º AROUND PEDRAFORCA.

Standard and slow mode: Distance: 17 km / Elevation gain +: 421 m / Elevation -: 421 m / Hours: 6h + stops.
Circular route that allows us to know the lower part of this mountain while walking through its forests and following a simple and very pleasant to the senses path.
